Highlighted Up Coming Events

Orders are being taken until December 13th for 6” poinsettia plants in your choice of pink, red, or white.  The cost is $8 each.  Make checks payable to: Bethel Wesley UMC.  Plants should be taken home after Christmas.  In lieu of purchasing a plant, you may also make a donation to a mission project.  Just write “Missions” on the order form.

Stewardship Drive

Remember that  stewardship involves more than just putting  money in the offering plate on Sunday.   Let’s make 2016 the best year ever for BWUMC!

What Does the Bible Say about Conflict Resolution?

Have you ever wondered how to deal with disagreements and conflict in your life? The Bible has a lot of good advice about these issues. The new class, Resolving Everyday Conflicts, explores what the Bible advises and gives you practical techniques to resolve the conflicts we all encounter, at home, at work, and at church. Conflict among people is not a new issue. Jesus had a lot of conflict resolution advice for the people of the first century, and it continues to be effective today. <!–split–>

If you want to learn about Biblical conflict resolution, the 8-week Resolving Everyday Conflict class begins September 30 and continues on Wednesday evenings through November 18. The class will meet in the movie room from 6:00-7:00 pm.

The Bible gives great advice on how to have a better, more productive life. Jesus said “I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.”
