Beginning February 28 and ending March 18, we will be taking orders for Easter Flowers.
Lilies are $8, and Daffodils, Hyacinths or Tulips are $10. Look for order forms in the weekly bulletins. The flowers will be displayed in the Sanctuary on Easter Sunday, and can be taken home after the Easter service.
If you are looking for a truly spiritual weekend to connect or reconnect with God, I suggest considering a Walk To Emmaus Weekend. It is a 72-hour experience with fellow Christians from around the QC area. The men’s walk is April 7-10 and women’s walk is April 14-17, both held at Camp Summit. : <!–split–>
Several BW individuals (Ade, Hein, Lawson, Mesick, Pikuza, Roseman) have attended in the past, and would be willing to share their experience and answer any questions you may have about the weekend. I ask that you be in prayer, as I will be in prayer for you, concerning God leading you into this new venture. You won’t be sorry.
Each Wednesday evening beginning February 17 through March 16 at 5:30 p.m., there will be a soup supper followed by a time of Bible Study in which we will be dissecting and studying the Lord’s Prayer. If you want to make a donation for your supper, there are specially marked jars for your donation with the donations going toward the Africa University Scholarship that was established by the Illinois Great Rivers Conference last year.

CHRISTIAN SKATE NIGHT – Skate City in East Moline – Tuesday, February 16 from 6-8pm. $5.00.
LENTEN SEASON begins with Ash Wednesday, which this year is February 10, and we will worship that evening at 7:00 pm with the imposition of ashes. Each succeeding Wednesday evening beginning February 17th at 5:30 pm there will be a soup supper followed by a time of Bible study in which we will be dissecting and studying the Lord’s Prayer.
