No single event in human history has received more attention than the suffering and crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth. Bethel Wesley will offer a video and discussion group this Lent. In this study, Adam Hamilton will guide us through the last 24 hours of Jesus’ life. Each session of this study is designed to help participants experience and understand the significance of Jesus’ suffering and death in a way they may never have done before, whether they are long-time Christians or simply curious about the story of Christ’s crucifixion.
Starting Wednesday, March 9th, the group will gather at 5:30-6:30 for seven Wednesdays during Lent,. Pastor Stan will lead the discussion after the group watches a video.
To make the study more interesting, the study book 24 Hours That Changed the World should be ordered either from Amazon or by calling the Church Office (764-0619) before the end of February. One chapter will be covered each week. A devotional book is available also from Amazon or by calling the Church Office.
