It was an uplifting three days at Annual Conference in Peoria June 8-10 with 600+ delegates in attendance. Pastor Jan, Tom Hein, and myself represented Bethel Wesley United Methodist Church. There was a lot of encouragement and clapping as we listened to inspired preaching and reports of accomplishments many congregations and committees have made. Reports were accepted and some tough legislation was discussed.

Special services were held for Memorials, Ordination, and Retirees. Congratulations to Tim Gossett, Kelligay Crede, and Jon Sims on their retirement! Our Learning Center received a $2,000 grant from the benevolence area of the IGRC budget and has been accepted as an Advanced Special of our conference.
