Advent Bible Study

Pastor Jan will lead an Advent Bible Study,” Advent In Plain Site” on Wednesday’s during Advent. We will have the Soup Supper again this year on every Wednesday in Advent. Soup will be served from 4:30 – 5:30,  clean up 5:30 – 6:00,  Bible Study 6:00 – 7:00,  bell and choir practice starts at 7:00.

Cookie Walk and Bake Sale - Saturday, December 14th - 8:00-11:00 am

Join us for a cup of coffee and shop for your holiday cookie needs! A large assortment of holiday cookies and baked goods will be available in the Activity Center!     .50 per cookie or $6.00 a dozen

Christmas Celebration

Angel Child – We are passing out angels and the presents need to be back December 15th. Please wrap and label with the child’s name.  Our children this year are from the Learning Center.

 Callahan Christmas Recital – Sunday, December 22nd, 3:00 pm in the Sanctuary.

Christmas Eve Worship Service – Tuesday, December 24th, 6:00 pm in the Sanctuary.

 Blue Christmas Worship Service – Sunday, December 29th – 10:00 am.    Blue Christmas is a service of worship for people suffering with pain, loss, isolation, and grief during the Christmas season. We remember those for whom the holidays are not joyful—those who are mourning the loss of a loved one; those who are separated or alienated for whatever reason; those who are lonely; those who are feeling depression and sadness. Let us be together, here and now.

Staff Gifts

As we approach Christmas, it is Bethel Wesley’s tradition to honor our dedicated staff with a Christmas bonus. Our staff team plays a crucial role in helping Bethel Wesley continue to praise God in worship and service.

Please prayerfully consider a gift for these special individuals who have collectively served Bethel Wesley for over 60 years. Mark your contributions as “Staff Gift” and place them in the offering or mail them to the church by December 20th. The gifts will be presented during the Christmas Eve Service.

May you and your families be filled with Hope, Love, Joy, and Peace as we prepare for the celebration of Christ’s birth.   –STAFF PARISH COMMITTEE.
