Several from our congregation will attend this on-line (Zoom) training on October16, 1:00-5:00 pm. You may attend at home or with a group in Wesley Hall here at BW.  The training is open for anyone else who is interested; contact Carolyn Mesick if you’re interested. We would like to have at least 5 people from Bethel Wesley and are hoping to collaborate with other local churches to formulate a plan for caring for our community in the event of a disaster.

Connecting Neighbors is a 4-hour Zoom training that inspires congregations and communities to minimize disaster caused harm to people and property and to respond to neighbors in helpful, cooperative, and caring ways on behalf of the church and in the spirit of Jesus Christ. Information from this training comes from the knowledge and experience gleaned over many years by dedicated volunteers who have served their neighbors on behalf of the church.
