Congratulations Bethel Wesley! We have completed the Five Star Mission Challenge for 2024. By paying 100% of our Conference Apportionments, supporting a GBGM missionary, giving to Special Sunday offerings (Easter offering), contributing to an UMCOR advance, and supporting an IGRC advance, we have strengthened the shared ministry of IGRC and spread God’s love far beyond the walls of our own church. In other news, our neighbor pastor, Rev. Dr. James Fielder of Riverside UMC, has been appointed the West District Superintendent beginning July 1. Rev. Nic Showalter will pastor Wesley and West Olive Faith in Bloomington after serving the maximum 8 years as a superintendent.
