Welcome: Located on the bluff overlooking downtown Moline, IL, Bethel Wesley United Methodist Church is committed to building bridges in our community. When some churches decided to move out of the center of the city, our church decided to stay and engage in outreach to our culturally diverse neighborhood. When other churches closed their doors, we opened ours to those in need. This decision was a natural outgrowth of our rich heritage as a Swedish Methodist Church — a church that welcomed immigrants arriving from Scandinavia in the late 1800s. Now we are reaching out to our Hispanic/Latino neighbors through a variety of activities, including the Community Resource and Learning Center, Love Life Ministries, and our programs for children, youth, and adults of all ages.

Vision: As Christians inspired by the Holy Spirit, we will seek an
ever-increasing connection with God, each other, and the community, for the transformation of the world through Jesus Christ.
